Privacy

OurImprint is operated by David Heslop in British Columbia, Canada. The site is ourimprint.ca.

What stays on your device

Fingerprint photos, names, date, and message stay in this browser. They are not uploaded. Checkout does not upload fingerprint photos. Replace or clear the photos—or refresh, leave, or close the tab—to discard the session images. We do not keep buyers' fingerprint photos.

Printed orders

If you order a print, only the finished artwork image is uploaded so our print partner, Printful, can produce it. Printful also receives the shipping name and address you give at checkout. Unpaid artwork uploads are deleted after 7 days. Your raw fingerprint photos are never uploaded.

Payment

Stripe receives payment details only, and only if you buy a digital download or a printed copy. The live preview and the small watermarked preview image are free and are not a purchase.

To let you restore a purchase, we keep a record of the paid checkout: the package, currency, the email you gave Stripe, the Stripe receipt number when available, and the time. It contains no photos or artwork.

Email

If you ask us to email your preview, we keep your email address, the time, where on the site you asked, and whether you ticked the optional box for occasional offers. Without that box we send only the one email you asked for. With it, or if you agree to updates at checkout and do not finish, we may send up to two short reminders. Every marketing email has a one-click unsubscribe link, and we stop as soon as you buy or unsubscribe. Email is sent through Resend. Your fingerprint photos are never emailed or uploaded.

What this site does not do

There is no account, no advertising, and no ad tracking or remarketing.

Visit counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, a privacy-friendly visit counter. It sets no cookies, does not track you across sites, and is not used for advertising. It records aggregate page views and page-load timing (such as the page visited, referrer, browser type, and country). Your fingerprint photos, names, date, and message never leave your device and are never part of it.

We also use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages help people find us and whether checkout works. IP addresses are anonymized, Google signals and ad personalization are off, and events contain only page views, the product chosen, its price and a random order number, never your name, email, message, or fingerprint images. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (named _ga); you can block them in your browser or with Google's opt-out add-on without affecting the site.

Hosting and this browser

Hosting can receive ordinary connection details, such as your IP address, browser, and the page you requested.

This browser saves only your appearance choice, whether you dismissed the preview introduction, and—after a purchase—a restore key for that purchase.

To ask for your data to be deleted, email hello@ourimprint.ca. For any other privacy question, use the same address.
